COVID-19 Wall of Memories is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that runs a website which memorializes victims of COVID-19 in this country and also provides education and news about the illness and its impact.
"Just the Facts" is the name of a page on our site which provides up to date CDC guidance, information from other agencies about the disease and its spread, as well as regularly updated news headlines. We need a volunteer to regularly check on and post new guidance and information, and to update the news headlines once a week. The position would require attention to detail and basic knowledge of COVID as a disease as well as related policy, trends, treatments, prevention, etc. You don't need to be an expert in those areas; you just need to understand enough to know what is important for the public to be aware of. The schedule is flexible and the hours depend entirely on the frequency of updates required, so the total could be as little as one hour or as much as five hours per week.
The initial evaluation for this position is providing answers to a list of screening questions. We will require a letter of recommendation primarily focused on your reliability and attention to detail.
