Role Description:
Calling all human resources experts! We are looking for exciting, upbeat personnel who love to use their creativity to bring in volunteers for the new Los Angeles Chapter of S.Y.STEM Coalition!

As the new year begins, our LA chapter is looking to get off to a blazing start in the hopes of having its best year to date! This position will include developing working relationships within the LA community, while using your creativity and keen-eye for brand strategy/vision.

Ever heard the expression, "the more, the merrier?" This is exactly what we want to embrace as our org looks to grow exponentially within 2022. Therefore, your role will help us develop volunteer recruitment strategies to make help us make an impact on the youth of LA!

Responsibilities:

- Lead the chapter's recruitment action plan
- Establish a creative blueprint to advertise new and exciting roles within the organization
- Drive networking and social media strategies for recruitment
- Work closely with other directors in organization to coordinate tasks and help needed
- Utilize experience and personal connections for organization growth
- Be a self-starter

Info about Organization:

We started 6 years ago in Tucson, AZ. 6 exceptionally talented and motivated people who wanted to give back to the community by helping k-12 students find a passion for STEM. We saw all of the poverty in our city and realized if just one of those kids from that community was able to get a great paying job in STEM, they could not only help themselves but also help their whole family break the cycle of poverty! Now the organization has over 50 volunteers, chapters in 3 different cities and growing! More than anything, being a part of this amazing organization has showed me that you really CAN change the world, one step at a time!
