Mission Statement
The mission of Most Holy Redeemer AIDS Support Group is to mitigate the suffering and enhance the quality of life of those struggling with debilitating HIV/AIDS-related diseases. This is accomplished through providing practical, emotional, and where desired, spiritual support for persons with HIV/AIDS-related diseases and their loved ones, regardless of religious belief, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
Description
Founded in 1985, Most Holy Redeemer AIDS Support Group is an independent non-profit service organization that depends on the financial support of individuals, corporations and foundations. Because our services are provided by volunteers, we make the most of every tax-deductible dollar we receive.
Because the ravages of HIV and AIDS are both physical and psychological, we offer a variety of individualized services. Each client is carefully matched with a volunteer to create a one-on-one partnership that provides both practical services and companionship.
Our volunteers help perform many of the daily tasks of living that have become difficult for people with HIV and AIDS, such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, laundry and errands.
