ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Club of Vista

As a Power Hour Support Volunteer, you will be donating your time to the betterment of our Club kids that are at risk of falling behind during the school year. For one hour a day during Club programming, Club members are given a quiet time to complete homework and read silently prior to regular programming starting. By helping during Power Hour, you will keep Club members on track and give them a newfound love for learning and reading. Committing to volunteering for the duration of the semester will bring consistency and comfort to many students who are in need of that extra one-on-one help.

If you feel you can help, please e-mail sierra@bgcvista.com expressing your interest or call 760-295-5933.
