Neighbor to Neighbor Call Program - Shelby County
ORGANIZATION: Iowa Department on Aging RSVP
Please visit the new page to apply.
The Neighbor to Neighbor Call Program provides a way to connect caring community members with Shelby County residents who will benefit from personal contact and an opportunity to socialize. The call program volunteers make weekly phone calls to aging individuals and individuals with disabilities or their caregivers. This program targets our most vulnerable population i.e., Iowans who are "ageing in place," remaining independent but who may require support services to do so.
