Friendly Center needs your help to make sure 1st-8th students don’t fall behind.
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers for our fall tutoring program. Tutors will work with children from low-income families that need academic support. Tutors assist students with their homework, reading, writing and end the day with enrichment activities or games. We are currently in need of a few tutors on the following days:
Tuesday, September 6th- Friday, December 16th
(Wednesday) 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
(We ask that our tutors commit to at least one day a week.)

Description
WHO WE ARE:
Friendly Center has been helping less-fortunate children and their families move toward self-sufficiency for 95 years. This is done through over 20 programs and services. We provide life-changing assistance to more than 1,000 families each year.
WHAT WE DO:
We help the entire family with programs in education, food support, and mental health services. Our goal is to meet the needs a family may face, get them back on their feet, and prevent the cycle from continuing to the next generation.
Join us. Together, we can end the cycle of generational poverty for families and future generations in Orange County.
