Recruiting Organization: AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP serving Central Minnesota

In January, RSVP will honor MLK Day of Service with a "Let Friendship Ring" movement to encourage all to lift-up our neighbors with extra care and support. We need YOUR help to make this MLK Day of Service a success! Contact RSVP at (320)255- 7295 or email rsvp@ci.stcloud.mn.us to get your name on the list to help. Here are just a few things that will be happening.

SHARE SOME SWEETNESS - we need RSVP volunteers will help spread 'sweetness’ by passing out "Let Friendship Ring" cards with Dark Chocolate Godiva Heart Candies on Monday, January 17th at your favorite local restaurants, coffee shops, and stores - basically everywhere that you go. These cards are meant to motivate community members (including youth) to get involved in helping others and showing friendship. SPREAD THE WORD, with your friends, on social media, in groups where you meet, basically everywhere. RSVP will supply all of the tools you need to be an 'Influencer’ for friendship. BE AN EXAMPLE, especially to anyone who may be lonely or in need any day, but particularly to honor the MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 17th! SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES on social media using #MLK Day and #greaterstcloudrsvp on your social media. Not sure what a # is or use social media? Just email your photos of friendship in action to RSVP.
