Our organization focuses on human trafficking survivor mental health rehabilitation.

• FWAWS is currently seeking a Marketing and Public Relations Manager.
• The ideal volunteer would be able to manage and communicate key messages and promote a positive image of our organization.
• The volunteer will write press releases, be a liaison with local and national press, and coordinate messaging going out on websites, social media, and in print.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of media production and communication
• Excellent grasp of the English language
• Strong attention to detail and be thorough
• Ability to use your initiative
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and carrying out PR campaigns and strategies
• Monitoring the public and media's opinion of our organization
• Writing and editing press releases, leaflets, brochures, speeches, newsletters, and social media content
• Exploiting all forms of media, including national and regional press, to build, maintain and manage the representation of our organization
• Representing our organization at events and acting as a spokesperson for the company’s brand
• Developing good working relationships with the media and liaising with the press on potential news stories
• Monitoring publicity and press coverage
