Learning Ally is working to solve the literacy problem - the 65% of students who are not proficient in reading by 4th grade. Our volunteers help us create accessible education tools and support us in serving over 1.6 million students and 260,000 educators across the U.S.

The volunteer role: You can help Learning Ally deepen relationships with school districts across the U.S. To improve support for students and educators across the United States, Learning Ally strives to grow our relationships and deepen our connections with districts.

Learning Ally is looking for volunteers to help build our network of district professionals so we can support them in improving literacy outcomes in their schools. Our goal is to improve our understanding of the curriculum and instruction, school improvement plans, and technology used within each district so we can support their needs to the best of our ability.

We need your help to grow our network and improve our understanding of individual school and district needs. With your support, we can get more accessible education tools to students and their families across the nation.

Time commitment: This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity. We welcome you to volunteer at any time of the day, any day of the week. Once you select a school/district to research, we ask that you complete the tasks assigned to that school within 2-3 days.
