Learning Ally strives to improve our support of students and educators across the United States by growing relationships and furthering connections with school districts. Every year, Learning Ally aims to partner with more schools to ultimately reach more students nationwide.
We're looking for volunteers to help us grow our connections with school districts and district leaders so we can support them in improving literacy outcomes in their schools.
In this volunteer role, you can help Learning Ally increase our reach district-wide, offering education solutions and critical support for educators and families, moving us closer to solving the literacy crisis in the U.S.
Join us in volunteering, and help Learning Ally identify key school district contacts to help reach more schools and more students.
Your goal: Help find contact information of district leaders, administrative assistants, and secretaries and links to district directories via their website.
What you'll do
Volunteers will be given a list of high-priority school districts and asked to locate the district website/directory page and the contact information of the district's administrative assistant/secretary and important district leader contacts (a list of desired job titles will be provided).
Volunteers will enter the weblinks and contact information of the administrative assistants/secretaries and district leader contact information they find in Learning Ally's School District Support app.
Time commitment:
This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity. We welcome you to volunteer at any time of the day, any day of the week.
Training for this role consists of watching a video and reviewing FAQs, which will take 10-15 minutes,
Once you select a school district, we ask that you complete the tasks assigned to that district within 2-3 days or unassign yourself if you can no longer volunteer.
