Access Equestrian is seeking kind and caring volunteers to assist in our programs who have experience working with horses. Help is needed in our adaptive riding lessons for school aged children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our lesson program operates Tuesday through Sunday, throughout the day.
We are currently looking for volunteer horse leader assistance for our SPRING program, two-hours once per week minimum. Horse handling experience is preferable. Schedule dates and shift times will be determined at a later date.
Volunteer duties vary according to each particular program, but include everything from barn care and horse handling, as well as mentoring adults and children with special needs. The efforts of our incredible volunteers make our programs possible. All volunteers will receive orientation training before joining our program.
Please note: This volunteer opportunity is for our spring program and will begin mid-March, 2022.
