Secure a Permanent Location for St. James Infirmary!

The last two years have been a struggle for St James Infirmary (SJI), but they have persevered and continued to bring excellent, compassionate care and services to the sex worker community of the Bay Area. SJI’s services are all free and include clinical services, mental health counseling and groups, harm reduction support and syringe access services, late night outreach to street-based sex workers, strip clubs and massage parlors, Transgender and Gender Non Conforming (TGNC) housing services, as well as political advocacy to decriminalize prostitution.

SJI is in need of a new location for offices and clinic space. They are looking for a space that would serve as a Community Drop In space and clinic with offices and counseling rooms. They now have the opportunity to purchase a building at $1.8million. This would be a huge game changer and would help SJI stabilize in a city with insecure housing.
