About Yesukan Adult Christian Learning Center

Mission Statement
We help adults fulfill their God-given purpose through Education and Bible-based counsel.
Description
We serve all adults: those who have never been to school; those preparing for their GED exams; those who are either low income or from the migrant community; any adult in need of the classes we provide. The students participate in group classes and receive individual tutoring that are mostly staffed by volunteers.
Our Impact: 6th year - 2021
- 77 Students served
- Tuesdays and Thursdays late afternoon classes continue in Reading/Writing, English and Computer Basics.
- In June, started Tuesday, Thursday & Friday English classes, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
- In August, English classes began on Mondays & Wednesdays at the New Horizons location from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
- Special classes in Exercise, Health & Wellness taught by UF/IFAS FNP staff and volunteer.
