Mint is seeking one experienced webmaster / webmistress to expand and maintain our volunteer-created website and expand functions for our alumni and youth artists.
We already have the bare bones of the alumni section set up, thanks to a volunteer. Now we need you to improve and refine and add functionality and maintain other elements of the site. We want to share opportunities, career tools and more with our alumni.
Ideally, we want someone with at least 5 years experience working on WordPress websites, someone who can help us with the site and also develop guides for future volunteers and interns.

Mint Artists Guild helps to transform aspiring Detroit youth artists through education, exceptional engagement and experience, resulting in earning opportunities, skill-building, exposure, and mentoring. Mint launches creative careers and lasting connections. Mint also infuses the community with art and creative experiences, enhancing a collaborative, healthy and generous culture.
Description
Mint works with artists ages 13 to 23 on entrepreneurial, career and life skills, and gives them opportunities to sell their creative work. A summer jobs program, business workshops and online educational and informational resources are offered to young visual artists. In 2020, we launched the Metro Detroit Youth Arts Competition, a creative activity kit giveaway (of 5,500 kits) and in 2021, we launched leadership development training. This year, we are working on an alumni engagement program, adding creative jobs to our website and so much more. We need your help and support to continue our growth!
