Food Pantry Stocker

The FOOD Pantry is open in the afternoons for food distribution through a shopping method and express pick up method. We are looking to add an additional stocker to each of our weekday afternoon shifts 12:30-3:15pm. Schedules can be weekly or biweekly.
This role involves stocking shelves of food as it is selected by clients or packed up into express boxes. Lifting 35-40 lbs occures throughout the shift. Volunteer must be able to meet this lifting requirement and stand on their feet for the entire 2.5 hour shift. This is a very active role. Training will be provided.
Masks are required for this role.

The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County provides food, hope, and dignity to county residents in need, and advocates to increase awareness of hunger through community partnerships.
We provide free groceries to people living in Waukesha County in need of food assistance. We are an equal opportunity provider and will help everyone we are able to, free of charge, and with complete privacy. We understand that after bills, rent, or unexpected financial troubles, many people are left with very little money, if any, for food. Our mission is to help people through those times.
