Dress for Success Greater Philadelphia has opened to serve and empower disadvantaged women in the Philadelphia area. To support our clients, we are need of volunteers in a few specific categories - see basic descriptions below and the link to a Google form to express interest.
1. Personal shopper/stylist: work one-on-one with our clients to find them the perfect outfit of professional clothing to give them confidence in their first interview or first day on the job
2. Virtual Coach/Career Services: help our clients with resume building, cover letter writing, interview prep and mock interviews
3. Clothing Coordinator: help us solicit professional clothing donations, host a suit drive, pick up clothing donations from others, sort clothes, and track inventory
4. Program Development: help us develop and provide programming to our clients to gain financial literacy, maintain employment and thrive in work and in life
5. Professional Women's Group: help facilitate monthly virtual meetings (or quarterly in person meetings) with small cohorts of women to discuss relevant issues
6. One-on-One Mentoring: pair up with a woman in need of mentorship

- We expect volunteers to commit to 3-4 hours of volunteer service per month. Many opportunities can be remote, depending on the position you're interested in.
- If you want to be a personal shopper/stylist for our clients, you will need to commit to a one-hour, in-person training prior to meeting with any clients.
