As a YCore Fellow, you will have the opportunity to support a project for The Child Poverty Action Lab which exists to reduce child poverty in Dallas by 50% within a single generation. This project will identify opportunities for improving outreach to families eligible for public benefit programs and help CPAL design a tool that can connect more people to available public programs.
Time commitment:
- 4 months (February 9-June 30, 2022).
- Bi-weekly workshops after work hours

Description
We know young professionals (aged 23-35) want to make an impact-now. In our four-month, after-work program, young professionals gain the tools to become champions for their local community. They complete a project with a local nonprofit; build skills like design thinking and fundraising; learn from industry leaders and join a robust community of changemakers.
