We are looking for a licensed BIPOC Psychologist (between the age of 25-45; we are definitely flexible about this range depending on the volunteer's skillset!), who is interested in becoming a board member and advisor for our start-up mental health non-profit organization, Happy2Thrive. The responsibilities of this role include regularly meeting with the cofounders and actively participating in the planning of the organization's programming. The qualities that we are looking for are passion, curiosity, and desire to end the mental health stigma.

We are a non-profit organization focused on highlighting stories of Thrivers who have a personal connection with mental illnesses and want to make a difference! We hope to bring better mental health awareness through our initiations.
Description
Currently we have 3 main causes or programs: COVID relief program, improve menstrual hygiene for women and young girls, and work closely with orphanages and nursing homes to better the residents' and childrens' mental health. At the moment, we are focusing on our COVID relief cause, which is to fundraise enough money to provide free meals for NJ healthcare workers to appreciate them for all they have and are continuing to do for us during this pandemic. We have hosted 3 virtual sessions so far and have fundraised nearly $1500 for the COVID relief cause in the span of just a couple of months.
