Amara Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals who want to make a difference by providing companionship visits to patients on hospice services.Volunteer companionship visits can include, but are not limited to reading with a patient, watching television or a movie, playing a game going outside or just simply being present and having a conversation. The volunteer visits will take place in the patient's home or in a local nursing facility. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible. It is simply about brightening up someone's day!
