REBUILD THE HOOD

Rebuild The Hood is seeking a social media volunteer. The role will involve content creation, engagement management and possibly attending local events. A background and interest in marketing is preferred. Other duties may include:

  • Assisting with the design and execution of campaigns
  • Creating and distribute content
  • Tracking social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
  • Supporting marketing team at live and online event

Description

What was initially created as a stand-alone event in 2017, Rebuild the Hood has now morphed into a full-service organization that is dedicated to the economic growth and sustainability of distressed and impoverished neighborhoods in the Chicagoland area. Since 2020, Rebuild the Hood has accomplished the following:

  • Awarded over 75K to black owned businesses that had been affected by COVID19 and civil unrest
  • Serviced over 150+ individuals with our Financial Literacy and Real Estate programs
