Hey there :)

malwear.org is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing access to cybersecurity mentorship, training, and certifications to underprivileged youth across America. Our current website is a quick Wordpress page to get a basic presence established, but it doesn't really handle our needs. We have developed a proper API in Laravel to handle our functional needs, but we do not have a front-end yet. All of us are pretty terrible at design. We need someone who can work in React or similar and integrate an amazing user experience with our existing Laravel API.

Currently, we have documented what we are looking for in regards to our unauthenticated user experience. This is detailed below:
- Home page
- About Page
- Donations page (inclusive of initial donate, cancellation, and success views involved in a Stripe workflow)
- Youth Application page (a form a user can fill in to apply for our benefits)
- Volunteer Application page (For adults who wish to volunteer to help with our organization)
- Login Page
- Registration Page
- Forgot Credentials page
- Email Verification page (handled through a Sendgrid workflow)

The authenticated user experience will include functionality such as viewing current benefits, tracking application status, chatting with mentors, and tracking their training plan progress.

We will provide our chosen developer with VPN access to our environment and a dedicated Windows 10 Enterprise machine in our environment with any tooling required to perform the work.

We have a well-documented API and are experienced in developing ourselves. If you can handle the front end, please help us help some kids :)

Mission Statement

We believe in equal access to cybersecurity education for all youth. We believe this access should be simple, readily available, and on-demand so youth are able to achieve their dreams to their fullest potential. We believe this will help secure our world against the digital security challenges to come. We know we can help.

We work to achieve a more secure world through three programs: mentorship, training, and certification. First, we provide direct access to mentorship with hackers that are currently employed in the offensive security industry. These mentors guide students through training resources provided by bWFsd2Vhcg== as well as publicly available resources such as Proving Grounds, HackTheBox, and Pentesterlabs. Finally, when they are ready, the youth we help will receive opportunities to earn industry-leading certifications such as the OSCP, Security+, and more. This will prepare youth to hit the ground running with career-level work at a young age. All of this is made possible through generous donations and volunteers. We just happen to develop excellent hackers. Let's work together to make a lot of them.
