Looking for an opportunity travel, explore and volunteer abroad in the summer of 2022? Well how about running your own trip for Ssamba Foundation and join us for FREE!

Recruit at least 10 people across your university, work or social network and join us in Uganda for free in 2022 summer vacation.

Ssamba Foundation is looking for ambitious, confident and determined university students to lead their own volunteer group trip to one of our summer projects in Uganda 2022.

We feel that university students are perfectly positioned to spread the word about what Ssamba Foundation do and have the network of contacts to organize their own group trip.

To qualify for the Summer Team Leader Position, you will need to recruit at least 10 people to your group (there is no upper limit). You can run your trip at whatever time of year you wish but generally speaking the summer months are the most convenient.

The minimum duration for the trip is 2 weeks and you can go away for up to 4 weeks. We can be flexible with the start dates.

You are responsible for recruiting, preparing and leading your group. Once you have been selected as a Ssamba Foundation University Team Leader you will have a skype meeting with your mentor.

We will give you all the training and support you need to start promoting your trip. Your SFU mentor is also there to advise and help you throughout the process. Here is a guide to the Team Leader process -

Ssamba Foundation University Team Leaders receive a whole host of benefits, but most appealing has to be the financial incentives. Depending on what type of trip you opt for and how many people you sign up you could receive all of your accommodation, meals and local transport included - and in some cases you can win a completely free trip including flights/visas!

You can also use your University Team Leader experience to boost your CV. Ssamba Foundation will happily act as a reference for you.
