Put your passion to work! Sign up to volunteer for Moving Day San Jose, a 5k walk event to raise awareness and funds to make life better for people with Parkinson's. Moving Day San Jose is Saturday, May 14 from 9am-12pm at San Jose City Hall. You can read more at www.movingdaysanjose.org.

To make this event a success, we rely on volunteers. Our events are promoted and run by volunteers that help with a wide variety of tasks that can be customized to your level of involvement, making this a perfect opportunity for everyone! Some of the volunteer opportunities are:

Moving Day Committee - a group of committed, passionate and connected volunteers who meet monthly and help us achieve our event goals (volunteers needed in in the months leading up to Moving Day)

Logistics - assist with planning the event (volunteers needed in in the months leading up to Moving Day)

Sponsorship - help identify and cultivate corporate sponsors (volunteers needed in in the months leading up to Moving Day)

Team Recruitment - recruit community members, businesses, schools, organizations to join the event (volunteers needed in in the months leading up to Moving Day)

PR/Marketing Lead - assist with general publicity of the event including social media promotion (volunteers needed in in the months leading up to Moving Day)

Day Of Event: volunteers to assist with day of general needs such as set-up, check-in, refreshment distribution, clean up, and other duties as needed.

All volunteer opportunities except for the day-of duties can be performed on nights and weekends or however your schedule allows.
