Recruiting Organization: Bideawee

Bideawee is looking for outgoing event volunteers who would be responsible for the following tasks:

• Handle and care for animals
• Facilitate interactions between animals and potential adopters
• Speak with potential adopters
• Help wherever needed; clean the van after no animals are left for them to handle, answer questions, represent Bideawee

Requirements are as follows:

• Ability to engage & communicate well with the public
• Good customer service skills
• Needs to be a brand ambassador, speak about the adoption/pricing process, answer general Bideawee questions

We are also looking to welcome new animal care volunteers who are able to dedicate 2 hours per week to our organization on a recurring basis! The following is a list of essential responsibilities our animal care volunteers perform:

• Cleaning
• Feeding
• Infection Control
• Socialization
• Record Keeping

Requirements for volunteering at our Wantagh site are as follows:

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
• Must be 16 or older
• Familiarity with animals preferred
• Willingness to learn new methods and practices in animal care
