UN Association Seeks Volunteer for Career Strategy and Mentoring under its Graduate Fellows Program

The United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA) seeks a volunteer to provide part-time career strategy and mentoring support to Metro DC graduate students enrolled in the UNA-NCA Graduate Fellows Program (GFP). The GFP provides a deep dive into key UN issues, as well as career strategy and mentoring support for about 30 competitively selected graduate students in a one-semester program. The volunteer leadership team seeks a new colleague based in Metro DC who will:

(1) Participate in recruitment and selection of Fellows

(2) Design and implement career strategy sessions and mentor-related programming for the Fellows

Experience in multilateral organizations and human resource management is desirable but not imperative. Further background on the GFP is contained in its recent Annual Report, linked below. If interested, please contact Ed Elmendorf ( edwardelmendorf@gmail.com) and Henry Webster-Mellon (hwebstermellon@unanca.org).
