Recruiting Organization: Preserving Hometown Experiences Music Fund

This role will fuel PHX Music Fund’s

impact to the community by ensuring we create events, messaging and support for

all genres of music and musicians that resonate with all community members.

This leader will influence how our Board makes decisions by providing diverse

insights. They will ensure our events are highly inclusive and that our

marketing materials resonate with the many audiences in our communities. We aim

to expand our engagement to all in the greater Phoenix/Arizona area and this

role is key to our ability to do that successfully.

Desired prior

experiences and skillset:

Understanding of the local music scene, deep understanding of diverse cultures

and peoples, Human Resources experience, experience providing strategic insight

and guidance to senior leaders.

Note that this is a volunteer position

that offers a unique opportunity to grow key competencies of influencing and

impacting others as well as engaging and inspiring. Both of these competencies

are key for any leader and the growth of their career. This position reports

directly to the CEO, offering a mentorship opportunity as well. This role has

key influence with the Board of Directors as well.

Preserving Hometown Experiences (PHX)

Music Fund) is a newly formed 501.c.3 organization and as such is looking for volunteers

to shape our foundational capabilities. And also, as this is a volunteer role,

we are open to various time commitments, ideally being able to engage at least

weekly in PHX Music Fund activity.
