Reporting to the Development Coordinator, the Gift Processing Volunteer is responsible for routine gift processing and data entry using the Raiser’s Edge CRM database. This position requires an individual who is comfortable using a complex database with highly detailed policies and procedures.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Gift processing and all related activities

· Update and maintain accurate information in Raiser’s Edge and supplementary files for all member/donor records

· Other duties as assigned, including various administrative tasks

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Required

Success in this position depends on the ability to understand how the donor database supports the overall fundraising picture. Experience with data entry in a CRM database (experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred).

High level of accuracy and efficiency with data entry and record processing

Ability to perform data entry for several hours at a time

Ability to take responsibility; to understand and follow directions, policies and procedures; and to deal with confidential data

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint, Word, and Excel)

Able to work independently and as a team member with a high degree of cooperation, integrity, ethics and dedication

Flexibility and a good sense of humor

Strong commitment to the mission, vision and values of Homage

Time Commitment: At least four hours a week with a minimum commitment of 6 months.
