Did you know that there are thousands of foods and herbs that can impact our mental health in positive ways? CrowdDoing is a global virtual collaboration to research medicinal foods for stress, sleep and anxiety. Our project has the goal of advancing integration across fields of research and to build medicinal foods literacies in the population. We're recruiting virtual volunteer service learning project managers.
This role is for Medicinal Foods, Medicinal Foods Service Learning Micro-Leadership Project Management. CrowdDoing aims to make each role flexible, allowing you to become engaged according to your own schedule. We are seeking a highly skilled, adaptable, and reliable marketing associate to help take our company to the next level. In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team of professionals who plan and implement our marketing, and advertising activities. You should be familiar with analysis and market research, product and service promotion, and anticipation of customer behavior.

Volunteer Managing Editor Responsibilities
Include:
Planning and managing all weekly operations
Volunteer hiring, coaching and supervising personnel
Collaborating with editor in chief to determine issues’ content and topics
Volunteer role brief
We are looking for a skilled Managing Editor to oversee our medicinal foods for stress, sleep and anxiety regular publishing operations. You will be reporting only to the editor in chief and supervise volunteer writers, volunteer editors and other volunteers.
A volunteer managing editor combines the innovativeness of a writer with the practical focus of an operations manager. You should be able to suggest ideas for stories and see them through to publication. We expect excellent organizational and leaderships skills as well as a unique problem-solving ability.
Volunteer Editor Responsibilities
Plan and manage all daily operations
Hire, coach and supervise personnel
Collaborate with editor in chief to determine issues’ content and topics
Coordinate editorial publications and meetings
Plan and approve assignments for writers and editors
Control schedules and enforce deadlines (for writers, photographers, designers etc.)
Oversee proofreading procedures and edit copy when necessary
Assist in evaluating finalized copy for compliance with policies, style and tone
Resolve issues as they arise
Attend events on behalf of the company or editor in chief
Volunteer Editor Requirements
Proven experience as managing editor or relevant role
Exceptional ability in copywriting and editing
Proficiency in English
Working knowledge of online platforms like WordPress and SEO concepts
Abilities in planning and coordinating people and operations
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and people abilities
Reliability and efficiency
Attention to detail
BSc/BA in journalism or relevant field
