Recruiting Organization: Trinity Wall Street

Objective

To continue Trinity’s history of service to under-resourced people of Manhattan by packing bags of lunch food, to be distributed to food insecure populations.

Location

Trinity Church (Monday - Saturday)

Trinity Commons (Monday): 76 Trinity Place

Opportunities

You may choose one or multiple days/times, please explain which days you would like to volunteer in your application.

Packing

• Monday Mornings from 9:30am - 12:00pm: Pack equally-portioned lunches into brown bags using food supplied by Trinity; takes place in the lower level of Trinity Commons.

Serving

• Monday - Saturday from 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Assist in the distribution of packed lunches to the community at Trinity Church.

Qualifications

No experience required; all you need is a positive attitude!

Mode of Engagement

Parishioner-to-Community; Community-to-Community

Time Commitment

1 hour per volunteer day around lunchtime or;

3 ½ hours every Monday morning;

Schedule of days is flexible.
