We are looking for a social media strategist to join the Written Support Ecrit SB Foundation who can apply their creative skills to create relevant content and improve our public engagement. The social media strategist’s responsibilities include maintaining a social media calendar for WSE and creating content for our social media platforms. The social media strategist should be able to commit at least 2-3 hours per week (hours may fluctuate). To be a successful social media strategist, you should be organized, familiar with softwares/websites, e.g. Canva, for content creation and have interest/proficiency in social media engagement.

  • Demonstrated skills in content creation and multitasking
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience working in teams through community/professional setting
  • Requires reliable access to a personal computer and internet
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication abilities

Your contribution:

  • Design and share content on the WSE social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn)
  • Lead the content creation and engagement for the "Championing Language Diversity" project
  • Create and maintain a social media content calendar for WSE
  • Work closely with the team to brainstorm ideas and concepts for continuing and new projects
  • Able to give at least 1-3 hours per week to participate as a social media strategist
