About Us
iThrive Games Foundation prepares teens to thrive by meeting them where they are and working in partnership towards a world where all have the voice, choice, and agency to reach their full potential. We use games and game design to equip teens with the social and emotional skills they need to be healthy and resilient, tools to support and protect their mental health and well-being, systems thinking they need to recognize inequity, and meaningful opportunities to imagine and design a better world.
We are working with a group of educational organizations to explore new ways of learning and gathering online. One way enlists the development of an ed-tech tool that merges best practices for online learning and UDL principles to deliver engaging self-directed lesson plans that power impactful and interactive learning experiences. We’re looking for experienced middle and high school educators (based in the US) to share feedback on course offerings hosted on the tool, and because you’re busy, we’re offering a $100/hour stipend.
As a course reviewer, you will be asked to give feedback on specific courses (averaging 30 minutes to an hour in length) and provide feedback via an initial 30-minute post-review conversation after the first course and then via Google surveys for subsequent courses. We are looking for feedback on:
- how you would envision using this type of content and additions needed for implementation
- the clarity of the course’s content
- the clarity of course’s learning journey, noting if there were any confusing sections
- the course’s accessibility or bandwidth limitations
- how you think your students/students might react to this course on engagement, relevancy, and enjoyment
Your commitment as a course reviewer is flexible. You will be able to make your own hours, and there is no required amount of time each week. You will get paid for the courses you’re able to review each week.
