Recruiting Organization: Kansas City Public Library

Hope Faith AmeriCorps VISTA Member will work with members of the Resource Development Team (Director of Development and Part Time Grant Writer) to increase service capacity for those who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk. This will be done through researching potential grant funders, especially government funding opportunities, and writing grants that would further support or expand programming and general operations of the organization. Conducting research to support the grant case will also be a crucial component of the role. And lastly, developing a funder recognition and reporting plan will further stewardship and accountability back to the funders.
