Older adults are prime targets of identity theft. You have the power to change this!
Pro Seniors' Ohio SMP trains volunteers to educate Medicare beneficiaries about fraud and identity theft. There are 57 SMP projects nationally with thousands of volunteers like you instructing seniors and their caregivers.
SMP volunteers have made a tremendous difference! The amount of waste in Medicare has been cut in half since the inception of these projects in 1996.

Pro Seniors helps older adults maintain their independence by empowering them, protecting their interests, and helping them access resources.
Description
Pro Seniors' provides legal advice to all Ohio residents age 60 or over who call our legal helpline, and free assistance to people in southwestern Ohio who need to choose and understand nursing homes and related long-term care. Pro Seniors also helps people resolve problems with long-term care providers, understand Medicare and other benefit programs, avoid Medicare fraud, and offers community education and regularly scheduled continuing education for professionals working with older adults.
