Recruiting Organization: Silent No Longer Tennessee

Purpose: To expand Silent No Longer Tennessee’s programs and services to victims and survivors of sexual violence, their allies and the community. This is a non paid volunteer position

Reports to: Executive Director

Responsibilities and duties:

• Represent our mission, values and beliefs wherever you go
• Keep internal information confidential
• Following rules and guidelines of the volunteer role at all times
• Research and identify individuals who may be interested in helping to further our mission, organizations for potential partnerships, small businesses and corporations whose values are in line with ours
• Develop strategies to cultivate relationships and maintain ongoing communications with those identified as potential donors, and develop strategies to cultivate sponsorships, memberships and major gifts.
• Collaborate with the executive director and marketing assistant to create marketing campaigns to advertise the organization’s programs & services

Time commitment: This is an ongoing virtual position requiring 3-5 hours per week.

Excellent communication, networking and marketing strategy skills

High energy, confident and persuasive while being respectful and actively listening to others

Possess an ability to talk to and connect with people from various backgrounds

Strong written and verbal skills

Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Reliable and able to work independently and as a team member

Qualifications

A solid understanding and commitment to our mission

A passion for helping others

Prior development, business management or fundraising experience is preferred but not required

Substantial personal and professional network preferred
