Recruiting Organization: Ubuntu Community Catalyst, Inc.

Ubuntu Community Catalyst is currently seeking a Part-timeSocial Media/Marketing to join our team. You will get to work with a great team at an emerging not-for profit organization that is activating the power of collaborative community transformation to enhance sustainable well-being for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute Ubuntu’s social media campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
• Create weekly and monthly calendar to promote Ubuntu’s programs, accomplishments on various social media channels and website
• Draft and distribute content for communications and marketing materials (e-newsletter, blogs, infographics, videos)
• Collaborate with Ubuntu/volunteers on ideas for programmatic and communications-related content
• Track social media engagement to identify campaign performance and web analytics

Qualifications:

• Current or recent undergraduate student in communications/marketing, public relations, creative writing, or related field
• Excellent attention to detail, and strong interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills
• Ability to conduct verifiable online research
• Proficient in various software platforms, including Microsoft Office, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms
• Graphic design experience and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Publisher, and other comparable software.

The volunteer opportunity will run from November through Spring semester. Communication between Volunteer and UCC team lead will be conducted via telephone, email, and/or video conferencing.
