Recruiting Organization: Ledgerback Digital Commons Research Cooperative

In this volunteer role, we are looking for someone to assist in creating educational resources (primarily a slidedeck/presentation) for our two mini-courses on:

• Introduction to platform cooperativism (IPC), and
• Decentralized and Open Thinking modals (DOT).

For IPC, we are looking for help in making parts 2 and 3 of this mini-course. You may find Part 1 here.

In Part 2, we are looking to discuss the Drivers of Platform Cooperativism, and in Part 3, we are looking to discuss the Platform Cooperativism Movement and Future Industries (new industries arising in industry 4.0).

For Parts 2 and 3, the bulk of the work will be:

• collecting and reviewing sources,
• possibly conducting interviews, and
• compiling information in a digestible manner.

For DOT, we are looking for help in making part 2 of this mini-course. You may find Part 1 here.

In Part 2, we are looking to discuss:

1. computational thinking,
2. ethical thinking,
3. regenerative thinking, and
4. nature-based modelling.

For Part 2, the bulk of the work will be:

• collecting and reviewing sources,
• possibly conducting interviews, and
• compiling information in a digestible manner.

This will support our work in informing the public about platform cooperativism and thinking modals, and scholars and learners interested in platform cooperativism and thinking modals and how it fits within the greater alternative internet.
