Loving animals is a must! Pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, a rooster, a feral cat, and dogs live at the Sanctuary. If you are afraid of any of these animals, this might not be the best match for you.
Responsibilities include cleaning out coops and kennels, brushing rabbits, spending time playing with and/or hanging out with animals, and a multitude of other tasks. This is a volunteer position that isn't glamorous and involves a lot of manual labor, but also includes some relaxing moments in the yard. Training will be provided, but previous experience with animal care is greatly appreciated.
