My name is Susan Penney, I am the Community Engagement Officer for the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, (BCSC).

BCSC has always valued the support of local volunteers. We are actively recruiting for new volunteers in your area.

Join a Volunteer Regional Branch

The Volunteer Regional Branches advance our vision of an end to breast cancer and provide opportunities for individuals and organizations to become active in supporting breast cancer research in Canada.

The Regional Volunteer Branches:

• Fundraise to support breast cancer research to help find a cure.
• Raise Awareness of the importance and impact of our research.
• Advocate for access testing and breast cancer treatments.

Our objective is to develop formal satellite Branches of our organization in order to connect with communities across Canada. Branch Members work closely with volunteers, donors and community partners to promote awareness of BCSC and the importance of breast cancer research.

The Breast Cancer Society of Canada, is a registered, national non-profit charity dedicated to saving lives through breast cancer research. We raise money to fund patient-focused research for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of breast cancer.

As a breast cancer survivor, I am extremely grateful for funded research as it has saved my life.
