Recruiting Organization: Disability Rights Legal Center

The Cancer Legal Resource Center (CLRC) is seeking attorneys barred in any state with experience in a wide range of legal issue areas, including (but not limited to) employment, insurance, estate planning, government benefits, medical malpractice, consumer rights or family law to join its Professional Panel and to help people navigate their cancer-related legal concerns. Speaking to an attorney, who is an expert in their legal issue, can make a major difference to a person dealing with cancer.

A Panel member’s initial commitment is a limited one. As a Professional Panel member, you agree to provide a free 30-minute consultation for CLRC callers that are referred to you. Any further service or representation is within your discretion. Referrals are assigned based on subject matter with consideration to the nature of the caller’s case and geographic location.

The CLRC relies heavily on its volunteer attorneys, and there is no way we’d be able to reach as many people affected by cancer without the assistance of people like you. Our professional panel is comprised of attorneys in almost every practice area in many states with the goal to have members in every state.

The CLRC is a program of the Disability Rights Legal Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides confidential and free services nationwide on cancer-related legal issues to anyone affected by cancer. The CLRC operates the only national telephone assistance line that provides individualized and tailored legal information and resources.
