Recruiting Organization: Preserving Hometown Experiences Music Fund

PHX Music Fund aims to provide the

support and tools that musicians and others in the music industry need to

thrive. We aim to establish a large, diverse group of musicians that we can

engage for both event and grant opportunities. As such we need a leader that is

highly connected to many genres of musicians throughout Arizona. Additionally

we strive to form key connections with all in the music industry including

venues which will allow us to form key partnerships so we can have the largest

overall impact. This role will have a vast understanding of and connection to

the venue scene and their leadership and musicians, both of which will be key

to enabling the work we aim to do. Lastly, we also want to engage our business

community to explore partnerships and also donation seeking that can help us to

fundraise.

Desired prior

experiences and skillset:

Understanding of the local (Maricopa county, AZ) music scene, highly connected

to many Arizona based musicians and venues, ability to network effectively,

ability to communicate a vision to engage, establish and grow partnerships.

Note that this is a volunteer position

that offers a unique opportunity to grow key competencies of influencing and

impacting others as well as engaging and inspiring. Both of these competencies

are key for any leader and the growth of their career. This leader will partner

with our grant writing leader, events leader and marketing leaders to create

strategic opportunities for PHX Music Fund to fulfill its mission. This

position reports directly to the CEO, offering a mentorship opportunity as

well.

Preserving Hometown Experiences (PHX)

Music Fund) is a newly formed 501.c.3 organization and as such is looking for volunteers

to shape our foundational capabilities. And also, as this is a volunteer role,

we are open to various time commitments, ideally being able to engage at least

weekly in PHX Music Fund activity.
