Recruiting Organization: Urban Development Corporation

Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Detroit residents living in the inner-city neighborhoods of Detroit. We are trying to bring stabilization, revitalization and sustainability to a 9-block area on the Northeast Side of Detroit. Currently, UDC is actively engaged in hosting numerous inner-city Detroit Neighborhood Clean-up Blitzes.

UDC has several longstanding senior residents who have a need for the clean-up of the landscape of their home and could utilize some additional helping hands.

We are calling upon individuals, families, friends, churches, civic groups, corporations, fraternities and sororities to come out for a few hours to help seniors very much in need while having fund doing so. Have a little party while giving back and making a difference in the life of a senior.

All landscape equipment, tools and supplies needed to assist seniors will be provided. In addition, all work performed will be done with social distancing and the wearing of face mask.
