For more than 30 years, Posse has identified and trained young people with extraordinary potential who might be missed by elite schools. Our program places Scholars in supportive, multicultural groups of 10 students -- Posses. With mentoring and full-tuition leadership scholarships from our partner colleges, Posse Scholars graduate at a rate of 90 percent. As alumni, they are well prepared and positioned for success.

Together with the nation’s top institutions of higher education, Posse is building a powerful new leadership network -- one that better represents the voices of all Americans.

Volunteer Opportunity Description

The Dynamic Assessment Process (DAP) is Posse’s unique evaluation method designed to identify young leaders who might be missed by traditional admissions criteria but who can excel at selective colleges and universities. Using nontraditional forums to evaluate potential, DAP offers students an opportunity to demonstrate their intrinsic leadership abilities. Through a three-part assessment process that includes large-group and individual interviews, Posse staff and partner college and university administrators ultimately select a diverse group of 10 students -- a Posse -- for each institution.

Posse needs volunteer evaluators to help us conduct virtual large-group interviews this August and September. Now, more than ever, we need your help to administer a dynamic interview process and identify future leaders.

You will need to attend a training before volunteering. We have three training dates for you to choose from.

• Thursday, July 22nd - 4:00-6:00 pm ET
• Thursday, July 29th - 12:00-2:00 pm ET
• Thursday, August 5th - 4:00-6:00 pm ET

After that you will be able to sign up for as many DAP volunteer opportunities as you would like to. Our interviews start on August 31st and run through September. Time commitment per volunteer opportunity is around 3 and a half hours.
