We are looking for a talented Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to manage our social media accounts. The candidate will be responsible for creating and distributing original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. develop. The candidate must implement, track and optimize our digital and content marketing campaigns across all digital channels. The candidate should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
Responsibilities
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and TGC Collective audience preferences
- Design and implement a cohesive social media strategy to align with the organisation’s goals and interests
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Programs to ensure brand consistency and message alignment
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor stakeholder reviews
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, blog layout and newsletters)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness (promotions, competitions, etc.)
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Plan, execute, and measure all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, search and display advertising campaigns
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Plan, execute, and measure all digital fundraising and grant campaigns
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Programs to create landing pages for the organization’s programs and campaigns, and optimise user experience
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end experience across multiple channels and touch points
- Instrument conversion points and optimise user funnels
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Qualifications
- BS degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
