Recruiting Organization: Alliance for Living, Inc.

Purpose: We are searching for a reliable and trustworthy volunteer to join our organization. The AFL Pantry Stocking Volunteer will be the backbone of our fight to end food insecurity in our community. Since food insecurity is a real issue in our community, we will need someone reliable that we can count on to be here to help us help people in need.

Alliance For Living is at the forefront of implementing evidence-based client-centered care to address public health, focusing on HIV, homelessness, and the overdose epidemic. Gain non-profit experience and volunteer hours while helping end HIV, homelessness, and the overdose epidemic in our area!

Position Summary: Volunteer commitment is flexible, and completely up to you. We do not require a set number of days/hours.

Skill Set:

• Must be able to restock shelves with needed items.
• Willing to organize and clean the area of trash.
• Must be able to carry boxes, stand and lift crates.
• Must be willing to communicate with our clients to help give out food.
• Can follow all new health and safety delivery protocols put in place due to COVID-19.
• Be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
