We are recruiting for our fully funded 6-month volunteer project, advocating for disability inclusion and empowerment in Skopje, North Macedonia. You'll be working alongside KRIK Centre for Youth Activism, supporting their work through the planning, organisation, and delivery of activities such as inclusion workshops, events, festivals, training sessions, and summer camps. You'll also support a group of short-term UK volunteers with learning disabilities who will be running their own activities and workshops.
We are looking for motivated candidates with good interpersonal skills, the ability to use their own initiative, and a positive and realistic commitment to volunteering. We encourage applicants with an interest in disability inclusion, working with people with learning disabilities, social work or youth work, or a motivation to develop a career in one of those fields.
This project is fully funded by the European Solidarity Corps, which covers accommodation, travel, food, insurance, local language classes and a pocket money allowance. You must be a UK resident aged 18-30 to apply.
