Recruiting Organization: Back on My Feet (Baltimore)

Do you have one hour a week to instill confidence, insight, encouragement and inspiration? Become a Career Coach! Each Career Coach is matched with a member early in their Back on My Feet journey. They share their knowledge on interview skills, resume building and other workforce development opportunities to help the member achieve their individual employment goals.

Responsibilities

-Finance: Credit Review, Debt Paydown Plan, Budget

-Online Training Resources

-Housing: Identifying housing needs

-Interviewing: Review written answers, interview coaching, practice Zoom interview

-Job Search: Identify sites to look for jobs, Review applications, Creating profiles (Indeed, LinkedIn)

-Professional Communication: Review email etiquette, review emails

Skills Required

-Ability to volunteer multiple times a month (virtually or in person)

-Interest in building a deeper coaching relationship

-Basic understanding of getting hired/hiring someone

-Comfortable providing feedback

-Interested in working 1:1 with members

-Able to keep member information confidential
