Recruiting Organization: Specialized Hospice
There are two ways that you may volunteer with Specialized Hospice. As a direct care or as an indirect care volunteer.
Indirect care involves working in our office by doing the following: making telephone calls, making copies, assembling Start of Care booklets, unload/stock supplies and prepare marketing folders.
Direct care includes the following: Preparing meals, assisting in light household chores. Sitting with patients to provide companionship and a comforting presence. Playing music for patients to provide a soothing and joyful atmosphere.
We will work with your schedule. Those looking for Community Services hours you my fulfill them with us.
