Circle of Care

  • 35 people are interested

Circle of Care is seeking facilitators for our grief and illness peer support group program. After attending an intensive 24 hour training, volunteers will have the unique opportunity to co-lead twice monthly (either Wed. or Thurs. evenning) peer support groups with either preschoolers, school age, teens or adult caregivers in our "Living with Loss" and/or "Living with Serious Illness" groups. Circle of Care is the only East Bay organization focused on the emotional needs of children aged 3-17 facing the imminent or recent death of a parent, sibling or other family member. For over 33 years, volunteers have been the foundation for Circle of Care; this year alone, 40 volunteers generously contributed over 3,500 hours of their time helping children and families through their healing journey.

Mandatory training modules held in August and January. We look forward to having you at our training and on our team!
