COMMUNITY RELATIONS ASSISTANT

Community Relations Assistant helps to promote and market an organization. They work to protect the image of the organization and develop relationships within the community. The Assistant is an individual who works with a business, corporation or other organization that wants to have a positive public image in the community; to act as a liaison between A-KEEP and other companies in the community, to develop positive, mutually beneficial relationships. In general, the Assistant’s job is to make A-KEEP more visible in the local community by undertaking projects, like a roving reporter, that will help to benefit everyone in the community with our services.

The Assistant must work with advertising representatives and other members of the media team, both external and internal, to help promote the image of the company to the community. In most cases, be responsible for making a speech at events, writing press releases or other marketing materials to advertise events to garner support. The Assistant essentially serves as the "face" of the company, and, it is very important for a person in this role to always present a professional image and to keep the perception of the business in mind. The Assistant will also need to ensure that other staff members in the company are representing the company and interacting with guests professionally.
