Recruiting Organization: The Youth Mental Health Project

Are you a graphic designer who is motivated to improve the mental health of children and young adults? The Youth Mental Health Project(TM) is seeking a Graphic Designer who cares about the mental health of children, teens, and young adults and who has at least 2 years of relevant design experience. This is a volunteer role with the opportunity to grow into a paid position. We anticipate that projects will total between 10 and 15 hours per month.

We are a small 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to educate, empower, and support families and communities to better understand and care for the mental health of our youth. Our leadership, staff, and Board of Directors are motivated to reduce the shame, blame, misunderstanding, and silence that so often hinder access to needed services and supports.

Responsibilities

  • Design a range of printed and digital communications projects, including ads, flyers, newsletters, brochures and other print collateral materials, eblasts, web banners and graphics and other design projects as needed.
  • Prepare files for print production including formatting, color correction and retouching.
  • Adhere to FSP branding guidelines while creating innovative and effective design solutions for print and digital.
