Joyland is providing quality education to children in need so they can build future for themselves.
The school closure due to the covid-19 presence increased already existing inequalities of children from poor families to attend school. Children from poor families who were already mostly at risk of being excluded from going to school have been most affected.
107 children have not returned to school due to lack of school supplies like
- note books
- pens
- pencils
- crayons
- uniforms
- shoes
- food
- school bags
- sanitary pads for girls
- face masks
Also, about 200 are at risk of dropping from school.
Am looking for a volunteer to mobilize and collect school supplies or fund raiser to prevent further dropping out and bring back children to school
